Can I use the validator (web form) without registration?
Yes. Guests can run up to three validations per hour and see the validation status. With an account you get a higher quota and detailed findings.
Can I use the API directly without a customer account?
No. API usage requires a registered customer account with a suitable plan.
Is the web validator an open API?
No. The free validator is intentionally provided as a web form with rate limiting and bot protection, not as a freely consumable API.
What is the registration cost?
Registration is free. There is a free plan with 60 validations (web form) per hour. When API usage is enabled for the first time, there are 100 free API calls in the first 30 days.
What is the cost of API usage?
Depending on your usage volume, pricing starts at 9.90 € per month.
What is the cancellation period?
You can cancel any plan at any time without notice. You can of course continue to use the prepaid billing period, which is currently one month for all plans, until it ends.
What is the difference between the end-customer and technical areas?
The end-customer area helps users understand and validate e-invoices. The technical area is aimed at integrators who want to use the API in production.
Can I use the API and web validator with the same account?
Yes. A free account can later be upgraded to API usage in the billing area. If that account has never had an API trial before, the one-time free API trial with 100 requests also starts then.
Which files can I download?
In the portal, API customers can download the XML invoices and PDFs generated via the API.
